2026 Over/Unders NFL
2026 NFL Season is upon us… time for Miracle Covers’ OVER/UNDERs on Season Totals we like this year (mostly UNDERs as usual… we know failure here at Miracle Covers), along with some props:
Minnesota Vikings OVER 8.5 -115
The normal line is 7.5 at -150… I even thought about taking OVER 9.5 at +150 if not for the fact that new QB Kyler Murray, who has talent and now actually has a professional football coach, tends to be injury prone … but the Vikings have a lot good things going for them after a tough 2025. They have added 2 new WR to their already decent core of Addison and Jefferson with Jauan Jennings and 3rd round pick Tai Felton. Most of the NFC Central’s schedule is soft as it plays the NFC South this year as well as the Jets/Dolphins. Brian Flores is a top 5 DC; granted they lost SS Jamal Adams in the preseason (he fits Flores’ aggressive scheme well) but it should be the 2nd best in this division behind the talented Packers. This should be a playoff team.
New Orleans Saints OVER 6.5 -175
The NFC South sucks in general… each team is +250 to +300 to win the division… I have never seen that before! But this division is all about YoY turnover; last year the Panthers surprised everybody after a shit start to win the division (an OVER we had here at MC thanks to them ending 2024 on a good note). The Saints played much better at the end of last year as young QB Tyler Shough improved and HC Kellen Moore started getting used to his team as they won 5 of their last 9 games. They did lose 1st round pick WR Jordan Tyson to a preseason hamstring injury… but they still have good talent at key positions which should allow them to overtake a mid Carolina team with a 1st place schedule, a free agent dwindled Buccaneers team, and the mess that is the Atlanta Falcons. Will probably be up to them and Bucs for 1st place.
Atlanta Falcons UNDER 6.5 +130
Well, some team in this shit NFC South has to drink from the turd bowl… and it’s the Falcons. Their drafting and trading the last few years has been a mess. Yes, they have top 5 guys at RB (Bijan Robinson) and WR (Drake London). But they signed QB Tua Turndaballova in the offseason and he’s had two shit preseason starts with his pop gun arm whose only positive thing it’s produced in the preseason is the 2026 season’s best meme. The other QB, Michael Penix, has a noodle for a knee. And their coach maybe the worst time management guy in the league who cost his team a potential playoff birth in Washington last year. Add in a tough stretch in the middle of the year with GB, NO, BAL, CHI, SF, TB, CIN, KC, MIN… I think it will be a long year for the dirty birds. Sorry, Lou :(
Chicago Bears UNDER 9.5 -135
The Bears last year were what we here at Miracle Covers call, the “run good” team… there is usually some team who was shit the year before, improves in the next year by pulling out multiple games out of their ass. Including in the playoffs. Caleb Williams is exciting to watch… but variance is usually not kind to those, “NO NO NO… YES!” type of players in sports. Their defense is still below average, and the WR room is weak after Odunze after D.J. Moore’s departure (they maybe a candidate to trade for the NYJ’s Garrett Wilson at the deadline). The only positive for me is they do have an innovative HC in Ben Johnson with his run game. But add in bad juju with the stadium situation (the Indiana Bears was floated at one point), and Williams being on the cover of Madden (curse)… I just think variance catches up to them in 2026… especially with a very good offensive Lions team, a talented Packers team, and an improved Vikings team… in their division.
Arizona Cardinals UNDER 4.5 -170
This team stinks, the owners suck (Starting QB Jacoby Brissett held out and they took their time in paying him!), and they have a brutal schedule. Maybe the worse OL in the league. Rookie Carson Beck maybe good… he also maybe playing in the CFL in 3 years. The other QB is Miracle Covers’ fave Gardner Minshew… who, while entertaining off the field, is not very good on it. WR Marvin Harrison Jr is soft and is already planning his exit. I do like rookie RB Jeremiah Love, TE McBride is a top 5 guy, and Budda Baker is one of the league’s best safeties (he could get traded at deadline). But they are in the league’s toughest division where the other 3 teams probably make the playoffs.
Miami Dolphins UNDER 3.5 +105
Another team who, it’s clear with their offseason moves, is in tank mode for 2026 (maybe for Archie Manning). Malik Willis, their new FA QB who they gave $68 million too, has a .500 starting record. The only guy I know on their offense is De’Von Achane; they traded and/or released everybody else. New Miami HC Jeff Hafley sounds and looks like a guy you’d see on a PGA Tour leaderboard, not as a leader of men. They also have a fairly tough schedule, and when I did the W/L/T evaluation of their schedule, I had them down for 2 fucking wins. The Dolphins fan in our fantasy league, Van, says it’s the worse Miami team he’s seen in his lifetime (and he lived through the 1-15 2007 team).
Cleveland Browns UNDER 5.5 -105
I took this more for the juice if anything, it’s too low for this under. As long as DeShaun Watson is on this team, it’s bad juju. They have a new HC who wasn’t really all that great as OC in Baltimore. They traded away HOF Miles Garrett and DC Jim Schwartz, who always had his unit ready to play, left to sleep on his couch. Their WR room is essentially a whole bag o’ WR3s. The only thing they will be competing for is the #1 pick along with Arizona and Miami. I also took them to be 4th place in their division at -220 as the other 3 teams are, at least, 8+ win teams.
Patriots to win AFC East +165
Odds on a coinflip; the Bills are at -190, which is too high. Both teams have various depth issues, but I expect these two and Denver to come out of the AFC.
Denver Broncos to win AFC West +180
They may have the league’s best defense. KC is in a middling “on the way out of a generation” year; the Chargers already have injury issues at OL again; and the Raiders suck. Let’s just hope Sean Payton and Bo Nix don’t start side tweeting each other again.
NFL West Division with Most Wins +350
The Rams (90), Seahawks (86), and 49ers (85) are 3 of the top 10 teams rated in Madden 2027. The Cardinals are the 3rd worst (76), which means some easy wins. The only team that could mess this up is the 49ers and their electrical substation driven yearly injury issues along with their wild af offseason. Maybe they could sign the fake WR guy if they get enough injuries; I will say for as many injuries as they have had over the years, they still stay relatively competitive.
