NFL Week 9
Arizona -1.5 (-115)
Chicago is a young team coming off a soul-crushing loss to Washington on a Hail Mary. The loss has set off a few realities despite their good start (which was helped due to schedule): Caleb Williams is still learning on the job, the team is young and immature, and simply doesn’t have the type of coach to rein that in, on top of the fact the coach is kind of a moron (he didn’t call a timeout before the Hail Mary.. he had *3* of them!). On top of that, players are now openly questioning the playcalling, such as when D.J. Moore last week said of the inside handoff on the WAS 1 yard line called to, checks notes, a backup lineman (that resulted in a fumble): “I don’t know the reason behind the play call,” Moore said. “It’s been up for a few weeks, but I didn’t think we were actually getting it called in a game like this. When I came out of the tent and just seen him running, I was just like, ‘What the hell happened?’”. Arizona is also playing very competitive and they should challenge for the 7th NFC Wild Card spot if they stay healthy offensively.
NE at TEN OVER 38 (-110)
Drake Maye playing today, therefore, over.
NO at CAR UNDER 43.5 -110
These teams are scuffling.
DEN +8.5 (-110)
Baltimore is 1-11 in the last 12 games where they are a 7 or more favorite. Denver’s defense is really good and Patrick Surtain II has been the best CB in football so far this year.
