Really enjoying the Sunday morning Falcons-Lions affair, though the Lions are clearly jetlagged. We need more late night west coast games too, preferably involving the Raiders.
One confirmed play so far as I am working through the numbers like an underpaid analyst here on a Sunday morning. Updates as we go along and there will hopefully be a west coast hockey game tonight. Also a sincere apology from me for missing the over of the year in the Stars/Islanders game which finished 7-5, smushing the over by 6 goals. I don’t normally bet totals in NHL and so didn’t even think about this until after the game had started Neither team plays very much defense and both will at least be in the top 5 in goals scored at the end of the year. Dallas doesn’t have enough quality top 4 defensemen, but the Islanders just have too many forwards that simply don’t work hard enough without the puck. Islanders need an faceoff guy as well.

I still can’t find a freaking hockey game that is suitable enough to my liking. Rangers away to Montreal are really close, but I am still going to pass. Boston @ Toronto is another not terrible option I’m also choosing against. Should be something NFL or otherwise tomorrow.

Friday
No plays and nothing worth mentioning in any of the five games in the NHL tonight. Cautiously optimistic for Saturday and there should be some NFL games come Sunday. The games i listed but didn’t bet yesterday went 3-1 so that counts in fantasyland.
Sad Thursday
No plays again tonight unfortunately. Islanders, Nashville, Vancouver and Arizona are all leaners in order of worst to best value but none look like they are going to make it to the playable side. There is a NFL game also not bettable. 4-5 +1.1 so far for NHL. NFL has been awful to date 4-8 -3.51. MLB Regular season if I didn’t post it already finished 41-40 +3.72 and the playoffs were 1-0 +1.5. Hopefully better luck tomorrow.
Wednesday
1-1 yesterday with Toronto winning easily against what looked like a retro (94-2001) Islanders team with those players participating and everything. Vancouver, who we thoroughly enjoyed following last season, had a ridiculous loss against Dallas last night, missing only the bloopers music in the first two periods. Dallas is probably a top 5 offense so they don’t really need help like this to score goals:

All quiet for me over the last few days. NFL went 0-1 as I wasn’t around to get in on the Rams before kickoff. No hockey on Sunday or Monday but two plays tonight:
