Monday
Buffalo was an NFL loser yesterday thanks to their inability to stop touchdowns from occurring on 3rd and 20. I wasn’t around to get anything down on a teaser or the Cardinals which would have lost and won respectively. Very tempted to have a go with the Rams tonight at +13 at home to Seattle. This is basically the same as last week’s game with the Cardinals, only St. Louis doesn’t have a quarterback. I can’t bet Seattle, so it’s St. Louis or pass. I probably pass here.
No hockey yesterday. Washington is very close today at Vancouver, but I’ll wait a few hour since it’s a west coast game.
Sunday
I am hungover too. 1-1 on hockey yesterday for a small win. 4-4 for +1.5 so far. In NCAA Colorado was a loser by more than 13. 5-6 -1.34 for me now on that season.
Only one NFL play for me so far and it’s Buffalo +11 @ New Orleans. Pat, Sean, their parents and roughly 80% of the betting public are all taking New Orleans today. It’s also a top 5 Hilton contest pick along with Dallas, Seattle, Minnesota and Atlanta. That all points me to the away team and I’d be backing up the truck somewhat if this game were in Buffalo. Also no Jimmy Graham today for the Saints.
I may end up taking Arizona in the late game, but it will depend on the line and if I’m around. Will check for any teasers here too before kickoff.
Screaming Hangover
But I am boozing again so it’s fine. I will live. These are plays I have and I kind of like them. I have to write these down or otherwise I am likely to make opposing bets.
Cleveland +7.5 -119 @ KC
Buffalo @ NO Saints -11 -103
Miami (+6) @ NE
Jets (+5) @ Cincy
Pitt @ Oak Under 40.5 -102
Saturday Streaking
NCAA:
Texas A&M vs Vanderbilt Over 70
I’ve hit this 4 weeks in a row. As long as Manizel plays….and we’re gambling. Vandy also averages 33 points a game, and 37 at home.
UFC:
Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson +130
NFL:
KC – 9 and Teaser with Under 39.5 vs CLE
Jason Campbell is starting for the Browns. I had the displeasure of watching this guy in the second half of a Ravens game I bet on……the line was a sweat but with the way Campbell threw the ball (in the dirt): it wasn’t. He’s awful. If this were Weeden, I’d stay away…but we will take the points.
Dallas +3 + Over 48 Teaser @ DET
This should be a wild game full of mistakes. Could turn out to be important in the wild card picture in the NFC
Denver/Washington Over 59
The Over in Denver’s games this year is 6-0-1 so far this year. Plus anytime I get to bet an over where D’Angelo Hall is involved, I jump in it.
New Orleans -11
Might also throw this in a teaser with GB (-10) at Minnesota.
I am also betting against Tampa Bay the rest of the year…….to put it bluntly, they hate their coach. I put a hundo on the Panthers Thursday (who are playing really good ball right now) wit hthis logic in mind. The only thing that stopped Cam Newton on Thursday night was the Bucs’ cannon:

NCAA Saturday
Loser in hockey again and even worse I misread my sheet and missed a +170 winner on the Islanders. Hopefully it will get made up today…Again, the usual disclaimer, I have not and have no plans on watching any of these teams actually play.
Only 1 football game, Colorado +13
In the afternoon hockey game, Edmonton +145. Jets and Rangers are on the short list for later tonight.
UPDATE: Rangers +170
Friday
Two losers yesterday. Will try and do better today. NHL Buffalo +125
Thursday
Short post again today. Ottawa was an easy winner in hockey yesterday. One play again today and it’s the terrible Rangers +130 @ the equally Terrible Flyers. Another unentertaining sporting event that we are also gambling on is the NFL game tonight. I was on the fence betting this game, but the line move to 7 has pulled me in. Tampa +7 -110, fading the public on a home game per usual. Nothing ridiculous doing on either game, just a standard 1u.
Wednesday
Hark! A play! Ottawa +130
I promise I really do have the baseball wrap up coming soon. Preview: we finished on the plus side.
World Series of Prop Bets
Can you imagine if there was a World Series of Prop Bets? What would the events be? Will there be a podium where the national anthems are played for degenerate winners? I’m competing for the USA in the “Parlay Relay”. The possibilities could be endless.
As baseball’s World Series comes up, here are some prop bets I like:
Koji Uehara to win the World Series MVP (12-to-1)
Why not?
How many times will Shane Victorino get hit by a pitch? (Over/Under 1 @ Even)
We chop alot here, worth the gamble.
Matt Holliday more hits, runs, RBI than Dustin Pedroia (-115)
Pedroia is hurt with a bum thumb, struggling at the plate and on the field due to that injury, and in his career Holliday is 9-for-26 (.346) in 28 AB at Fenway with 3 doubles, 1 HR, 2 RBIs and 2 BBs at .577 slugging.
Will any player or manager get ejected in the World Series? (No @ -200)
That’s free money, IMO #backupthetruck
Our “Kudos of the Day” goes to Jim Leyland, who steps down as Tigers Manager after a long career in baseball. I’ll always respect the man for his talent on only on the diamond, but also off of it…..like his keen sense of smoking butts in the dugout without the umpires noticing (OK, maybe not) and of course, his all-time hall of fame talent of saying thew word, “fuck”:
Monday
Good day all around yesterday as our Bookmaker garbage line special teaser came in and the Colts both won and covered. Last week’s teaser was a big one and went 5-2 for a small loss, this week’s was a three team round-robin that won. I’m going to count teasers that end up on the plus side as wins and minuses as losses. Most of the teasers will end up as small losses, but the hope, like most of the other sports, is a small win at the end of the season. Teasers are 1-1 for -0.2 now to date.
NFL with yesterday’s small win is 4-1 +2.21.
Tonight’s game is Minnesota +3.5 at the 0-6 Giants. The public is all over the Giants so it’s Minnesota or nothing tonight. I’m inclined to pass on this game entirely, but that may change before tonight.
Lastly, nothing doing in hockey again as the Calgary line is too high to be a play. I’m definitely not about to go granting exceptions to games that don’t match the system I built, especially since I have no proof other than some light testing that it’s even profitable. I think it will work, but obviously no guarantees. 1-2 -0.7 in the early season there.
