1-1 last night with our total being foiled by the suddenly shitty Boston penalty kill. Tampa was an easy 4-1 winner. One play on a likely loser tonight and that’s Buffalo +235 @ Philadelphia for a half. Longtime followers will be aware that my modeling underrates the Flyers constantly so do as you like with that information. I’m debating a half unit play on the Islanders at home to Nashville here in a bit in the best game of the evening. Will post an update if necessary.
February 18
We had a needed winner with Washington last night, 3-1 in an ugly game. Since posting early and winning seems to be correlated, I’ll go ahead and post Bruins-Oilers UNDER 5.5 -120. Tampa is my official leaner and probably worth a very small play at +105 away to Anaheim.
UPDATE: Let’s go Tampa for a half at +105

Light posting and light losses over the cold and snowy holiday weekend. My apologies for that, but I do sincerely hope everyone lost money on Toronto the other night who were getting +195 in a shootout loss to Montreal. Great bet there with an unlucky result unlike some of our other more recent plays which haven’t been close. Season update soon but we are down some the last 7-10 days.
Back on the Capital bandwagon tonight Washington +135 @ Pittsburgh. Dallas is an option for degenerates only
Valentine’s Day Plays
Looking for some skrilla to pay for that fancy dinner you got stuck in traffic for because it’s been snowing for 20 days straight? Hopefully these plays will help pay for your evening out with that someone special tonight.
NHL:
Jumping on Lou’s suggestion: Toronto +195. Kessel’s demotion to the 4th line can only be good for the Leafs.
UFC:
Benson Henderson vs Thatch Fight Goes the Distance +115
I can’t believe this is giving odds. Henderson’s fights 4/5ths of the time go the distance (like his last one in Boston 1 month ago). It will be a boring fight, as Mike Tirico would like to say, “score only”.
Bonus:
Mason Plumlee wins Slum Dunk Contest +900
Because when else are you gonna be able to bet on a white guy, who went to Duke, to win a Slam Dunk Contest in your life? He plays on Brooklyn and the event is in Brooklyn, so you never know.

Nothing posted yesterday breaking my streak of good work posting every day this year. No plays to report there obviously. In a mini slump of sorts with few plays and even fewer wins at the moment. One confirmed play tonight: Toronto +195 @ Montreal. This is a likely loser but I think the lines are off for both of these teams as the Leafs are usually not this horrible and Montreal tends to play in lots of close games. Capitals are an option late in LA.
UPDATE: Caps are a go +114
February 12
Late, late post as I’ve been out and about. One play NHL Rangers/Avs UNDER 5.5 -135 for a half. I am considering quitting NBA after two half point losses that would have pushed had I sat around and waited for line moves. More tomorrow.
February 10
0-2 yesterday and neither game was particularly close. Both Vancouver and Columbus are very inconsistent with the Canucks having conceded 5, 0 and 5 goals their last three games. Phoenix was probably worth a half last night as they are playing better and were up against Chicago’s backup. I usually don’t even look at teams over +200 since they are collectively losers as a whole though maybe its something to revisit in the off season.
Single play tonight Dallas +125 @ Boston.
February 9
Two winners yesterday, hope ya’ll were following along. 51-53-1 +9.27 for the season. Single play tonight:
Los Angeles @ Columbus +135
UPDATE: Columbus was for a half, sorry for not including that earlier. This next play is not:
Vancouver +130 @ Minnesota
February 8
Single play this afternoon: Dallas +135 @ Rangers
Montreal will be an option later. Their line should improve from +125 to 130-140.
UPDATE: Line is actually going the other way but we’ll hop in regardless: Montreal +125 @ Boston
February 7
Our total was a big giant loser last night as Columbus scored 7 on their own. One game we are monitoring tonight and that’s the Islanders with Johnson in goal visiting Boston. Nothing else stands out in a slow week.
