March 3

A quiet few days for us will end today as the trade deadline has shaken up a lot of teams with 24 deals in total. I have been looking to fade Anaheim the past few weeks though the Ducks will get back to full strength soon. On the streaking side, the Rangers should finish with the #1 seed in the East after their activity yesterday, though they probably would have done so anyway.

Four plays confirmed for tonight.

1u: Nashville -115 @ New Jersey

1/2u: Ottawa +165 @ Minnesota
Los Angeles @ Edmonton +185
San Jose -110
@ Vancouver

A winning night for me but a loser for anyone who took the Kings as they lost 4-2. Apologies again for the late, late posting and subways and internet are not a good mixture, especially when stuck underground for an excessive length of time. Single play for later this evening: Minnesota @ Colorado +130 (1/2) . Currently in the doldrums again 60-63-1 +8.85 for the season to date. I am really, really tempted to take Edmonton tonight at +195 hosing the Blues but can’t seem to bring myself to do it. Still a few hours to go.

February 27

Subway issues prevented me from getting these up on time. Two plays with some possibilities in the late games:
Boston -115
Carolina +125 (1/2)

UPDATE: Kings +110 @ Anaheim

February 26

Quiet evening again for us with only a single play this evening: Montreal @ Columbus +125 (1/2). Adventurous souls can attempt Buffalo at or around 180 hosting Vancouver. Leafs may be on for a half as well but I’ll post that close to game time. I personally think San Jose and St. Louis are overpriced against Detroit and Winnipeg respectively but my models do not so those will be passes this evening. GLA

UPDATE: Toronto for a half, -120 hosting the Flyers.

February 25

We finally got an easy 4-1 winner in Carolina last night. Lots of other marginal and underdog plays came good last night as well, so anyone who reads here regularly should have at worst broke even. I think Boston was the only sharp team to lose.

Devils at -120 are the only thing close in three games tonight. Their total against Calgary briefly touched 4.5 at a few books. Columbus and Detroit are our early looks for tomorrow.

February 24

An actual play tonight: Flyers @ Hurricanes -120

February 23

Nothing to report from yesterday other than me wagering several hundred dollars to win five on yesterday’s Oscars (Julianne Moore). Only notable in the absence of any other information which happens to be the case today. Nothing doing yesterday in hockey and nothing again in either game tonight. Hopefully some more action tomorrow.

NHL Saturday

Pittsburgh +125

DET at DAL Over 5.5 @ +115

February 21

Another losing day yesterday and they are starting to add up. Boston somehow managed to concede five goals on 12 shots in the 2nd and 3rd periods combined and Toronto lost the coinflip 2-1. Full batch of games but likely no plays tonight as there’s not much that looks appealing at this point. Will update if anything changes.

February 20

A good day for us yesterday with Buffalo delivering a much needed win though we passed on the Islanders who ended up winning easily. I did not have the cojones go all-in on Buffalo for a full play, but as mentioned here many, many times over, getting to a shootout at plus plus odds is a good result regardless. Three plays tonight on a busy Friday:

Vancouver @ New Jersey -110 (1/2)
Boston +155
@ St. Louis
Toronto +135 @ Carolina

Oilers are an option later tonight at home to Minnesota as is Calgary hosting a banged up Anaheim.
